Plagiarism Policy
Plagiarism is the presentation of another person's words, ideas, data, findings, or other intellectual work as one's own without appropriate acknowledgment. Authors are expected to properly cite and acknowledge all sources used in their manuscripts.
IIARD Journals maintains a strict policy against plagiarism and other forms of academic misconduct. Authors must submit original work that has not been previously published or simultaneously submitted to another publication.
All submitted manuscripts may undergo plagiarism and originality screening as part of the editorial processing procedure. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts are properly cited and appropriately acknowledge the work of others.
Plagiarism may include, but is not limited to:
- Direct copying of text without proper citation or quotation.
- Presenting another person's ideas, findings, data, or work as one's own.
- Improper paraphrasing or insufficient acknowledgment of sources.
- Self-plagiarism or substantial reuse of previously published material without appropriate disclosure.
- Duplicate or substantially overlapping publication.
Editorial Actions & Enforcement
Where plagiarism or other forms of academic misconduct are identified, IIARD may take appropriate action depending on the nature and severity of the matter. Such action may include rejection of the manuscript, correction or withdrawal of published material, retraction where appropriate, or restrictions on future submissions.
Where plagiarism is identified after publication, the published article may be corrected, withdrawn, or retracted as appropriate.
Authors remain responsible for the originality, proper attribution, and integrity of the work they submit to IIARD.
