Editorial Board Composition

  • Editorial boards are reviewed periodically to ensure that their composition remains relevant to the journal's scope and objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities


Editorial board members may contribute to the journal by:

  • Providing academic and disciplinary guidance to the journal.
  • Advising on the journal's scope, direction and development.
  • Supporting the editorial office in maintaining appropriate scholarly and ethical standards.
  • Assisting with the identification of suitable reviewers where peer review is applicable.
  • Advising on manuscripts within their areas of expertise when requested.
  • Supporting the development and visibility of the journal within the academic community.
  • Disclosing and appropriately managing potential conflicts of interest.

Selection and Appointment


  • Editorial board members are nominated and evaluated by the editorial office.
  • Appointments are based on academic qualifications, research or professional contributions, disciplinary expertise and willingness to contribute to the journal.
  • Appointments may be reviewed periodically based on the needs and development of the journal.
  • Board members are expected to maintain professional and ethical standards in carrying out their responsibilities.

Editorial Independence & Ethics


IIARD is committed to maintaining editorial integrity and ensuring that editorial decisions are not improperly influenced by commercial, financial or personal interests.

Editorial board members are expected to:

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding manuscripts and editorial matters.
  • Declare relevant conflicts of interest.
  • Avoid participating in decisions involving manuscripts where they have a conflict of interest.
  • Uphold principles of academic integrity and responsible scholarly publishing.
  • Support appropriate procedures for handling ethical concerns, complaints and publication-related issues.

Transparency


IIARD provides publicly accessible information about its editorial boards, including the names, affiliations and editorial roles of board members.

The composition of each editorial board may be updated periodically to reflect changes in expertise, journal scope and editorial requirements.

Editorial Board Appointments


IIARD welcomes expressions of interest from qualified academics, researchers and professionals interested in serving on its editorial boards. Appointments are made based on relevant academic or professional expertise, disciplinary alignment, research contributions and the needs of the journal.
