Responsibilities of Authors

Authors are responsible for:

• Ensuring that submitted manuscripts are original and properly acknowledge the work of others.
• Providing accurate information, data, findings, and references.
• Ensuring that all listed authors have made meaningful contributions to the work and have approved the submitted manuscript.
• Obtaining the consent of all co-authors before submission.
• Disclosing any financial, personal, or other conflicts of interest that may be relevant to the manuscript.
• Ensuring that the manuscript has not been previously published or simultaneously submitted to another journal.
• Obtaining appropriate ethical approval or consent where required for research involving human participants, animals, or other regulated subjects.
• Correcting or notifying the Editorial Office of any significant error discovered in a submitted or published manuscript.

Editorial Responsibilities

The IIARD Editorial Office is responsible for:

• Conducting appropriate editorial screening of submitted manuscripts.
• Assessing submissions for relevance to the journal, completeness, originality, and compliance with applicable publication requirements.
• Handling submitted manuscripts and author information responsibly and confidentially.
• Treating authors fairly and without discrimination based on personal characteristics, nationality, institutional affiliation, or other irrelevant factors.
• Addressing ethical concerns or complaints relating to submitted or published work.
• Taking appropriate action when credible evidence of academic or publication misconduct is identified.

Academic and Publication Misconduct

IIARD does not accept plagiarism, fabrication or falsification of data, duplicate publication, inappropriate manipulation of research findings, fraudulent authorship, or other forms of academic misconduct.

Where misconduct is suspected or identified, IIARD may take appropriate action depending on the nature and severity of the matter. Actions may include requesting clarification or supporting documentation, requiring correction of the manuscript, rejecting the submission, withdrawing or retracting published material, or restricting future submissions.

Where necessary and appropriate, IIARD may communicate serious cases of misconduct to relevant institutions or authorities.

Post-Publication Corrections

If a significant error or ethical concern is identified after publication, IIARD may publish a correction, clarification, withdrawal, or retraction as appropriate.

Authors are encouraged to promptly notify the Editorial Office if they discover a significant error in their published work.

Conflict of Interest

Authors should disclose any financial, professional, personal, or other relationships that could reasonably be perceived as influencing their work.

The Editorial Office will consider disclosed conflicts when processing manuscripts and may request additional information where necessary.

Ethical Research

Authors are responsible for ensuring that research involving human participants, animals, personal data, or other regulated subjects complies with applicable ethical requirements and relevant institutional or national regulations.

Where applicable, authors should provide information about ethical approval, informed consent, or other relevant permissions.
